Symantec Norton CCI Launch
Pufferfish would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Chris Bryan and Agent X following their deployment of 2 PufferSphere XXL units on behalf of web-security experts Symantec. Chris developed and oversaw a twin launch of the Norton Cyber Crime Index in Grand Central Station, NYC and the Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush London. The project saw the giant 3m PufferSpheres appear overnight in central locations in the two financial centres, initially displaying a count down to the launch of the CCI. Once launched the PufferSphere displayed a blend live webfeeds and live cameras, mixed with bespoke CCI branding and idents, all delivered in real time via Hippoitizer media…
A ball at the J and B Met!
Billed as “a spectacle of glossy vibrancy and intense exhilaration enveloped in a cauldron of sensual excess that sets the pulse racing”, the J and B Met is South Africa’s premier Race Day. Ampere Technical Staging delivered a dynamic PufferSphere Glitter Ball, blending J and B’s distinctive branding with motion graphics and eye-candy as the exclusive crowd gathered to have a flutter and cheer on their riders from the cool of the J&B VIP hospitality area.
Ampere’s Goldfish Ball
Pufferfish’s South African rental and sales partner Ampere Technical Staging have been keeping busy with a string of PufferSphere installations in conjunction with the South African band Goldfish. The PufferSpheres marked Goldfish’s 12 week Sunday night residency at St Yves and were positioned outside on the veranda where they delivered branding and visuals fed via Catalyst.
Mediatec make Cubus spherical
Jan Carlsson and his team at Mediatec captured the imagination of the fashion world as they teamed up with event specialist GYRO to deliver a digital globe for Scandinavian fashion retailer Cubus. The PufferSphere XL was suspended above the event space forming a blue marble under which the company’s top-sellers took some time off to be recognized and congratulated on their success.
PufferSphere M “Highly Commended”
Pufferfish are thrilled to have been highly commended at the InAVation awards announced at ISE 2011. The PufferSphere M was nominated in the Most InAVative Digital Signage Product category and came in a very close second to the excellent Christie Micro Tiles. With the Christie DS750 being a projector compatible with the PufferSphere M, the result proved an extra bonus for Christie on the night. We were delighted to give our friends at Christie such a good run for their money and even more pleased that so many of you voted for us. Scala get Spherical at ISE
Pufferfish have just returned from an action packed ISE which saw the first public foray into the world of Digital Signage for the new PufferSphere M. Where better to make our entrance than with industry originators Scala, who were enthusiastic about the new possibilities these displays open up in the world of digital signage. The World of Projection Design
It was an special pleasure to be hosted on the Projection Design stand at ISE 2011, with the Projection Design F32 projector powering both units that we had on show in the venue. The show gave Projection Design the chance to showcase the work of their partners, demonstrating applied usage of their projectors in “solutions” as well as the raw hardware itself. For Pufferfish it was a great opportunity to meet with the Projection Design community and introduce them to some fresh applications and set the creative juices flowing.
