Bucharest or Bust
Romanian experiential marketing gurus Mercury 360 helped Grolsh get the ball rolling with a series of sponsored gigs in the capital Bucharest. Two 2m PufferSphere XL units were combined with edgy custom motion design and film footage to create an atmospheric brand presence at the gigs, now set to roll out across the region. A huge thanks to the team at Mercury 360 making it all happen at the drop of a hat.
Eye See You
Hats off to our clever friends at Earthware and The Technology Studio on their freaky eyeball tracking Kinect hack! Using the motion tracking capabilities of the Microsoft Kinect and combining them with a PufferSphere M 600 they created an eyeball that will follow you round the room. Having posted the video on youtube they found themselves inundated with requests to make a version featuring the firey Eye of Sauron – and dutifully obliged. Once the videos hit Engadget, Gizmodo and other tech blogs, they racked up a staggering 370,000 views in a few days – undoubtedly the most viewed PufferSphere video ever!
Olympic Technology Showcase
Pufferfish would like to extend our thanks to our friends at Panasonic and congratulate them on an excellent technology preview hosted at London’s Barbican. The event gave major Olympic sponsors the chance to get up close and personal with the technologies vying for a podium place at London’s 2012 games – the PufferSphere M 600 and 900 amongst them.
Confex 2011
Pufferfish were invited by business media giants UBM to help brand Confex 2011, the UK’s leading event for Event Organizers. Delivering UBM and Confex branding through 360 degrees, a PufferSphere M 600 greeted the 12,000 guests arriving at the show to see the latest innovations and services in the events industry and network with industry peers.
