PALME Plaudits
Projection Design extended some more of that famous Norwegian Hospitality at PALME 2011 in Dubai, hosting a PufferSphere M 600 unit powered by their sublime Projection Design F32 light engine. Besides being given pride of place on the PD stand, the PufferSphere M was also in the spotlight after being Highly Commended in the “Most Innovative New AV Product of the Year” category at the annual PALME Awards. Many thanks to all those involved in making our first trip to Dubai so memorable!
Gadget Show Live 2011
Following on from the popularity of their freaky eyeball youtube sensation the organizers of The Gadet Show Live asked the team at Earthware and The Technology Studio if they would let the crowds at the NEC get eyeball to eyeball with the PufferSphere Kinnect hack. Pufferfish would like to thank the team at Earthware for all their hard work in making it just as much a success in the flesh as it was online.

Leading Edinburgh Digital Agency Line have been exploring the power of data visualization, working with the combined Edinburgh Festivals to try to pull out new patterns and associations hidden in the mass of statistical information gathered on the festivals. Teaming up with New Media Scotland and the University of Edinburgh’s Inspace, Line invited all sorts of creative types to delve into the numbers and see what they came up with. Pufferfish set rising stars Benjamin and Arezoo the task of utilising the unique shape of the PufferSphere, then made it harder by giving them only two days each!
