“This really is some serious future tech”
And so it was that the good folks from The Gadget Show got almost as excited when they came face to face with the PufferSphere M, as we did when we saw it on the TV on Monday night! Jason Bradbury showcased Earthware’s timelapse earthquake tracker, TX Immersive’s 360 footage and Dr Andrew Coward’s Oceanographic animations for NOC and said some lovely things about us to boot – not least the quote above! Many thanks to all at the Gadget show for making our UK TV debut an event to remember! Sorry no photos but you can still see the Gadget Show video (UK only) click here
British Video Association Awards 2011
Old Billingsgate witnessed the annual British Video Association Awards and Pufferfish were on hand to add a little twist, or bend, to the proceedings, deploying a 1.6m PufferSphere XL and giving the assembled video industry a taste of something a little different to the video screens they are used to. Our thanks to Sam Stagnell forgetting us there, oh, and a mention for Tom Allan, who rode alone into the dark night on his first solo PufferSphere installation and lived to tell the tale!
Ampere M
Ampere Technical Staging put themselves ahead of the curve again, becoming the first AV rentals house to offer the PufferSphere M units as part of their regular inventory. Already holding two PufferSphere XL units, the Capetown outfit were keen to harness the high brightness PufferSphere M unit in tradeshow, digital signage and retail environments.
