The PufferSphere M matched their requirements for a high brightness single source projection sphere, equally suited to permanent installation and touring for the outreach work the MET Office undertake. With TEDGlobal coming to our home town, Pufferfish teamed up with TED aficionados Seeper to showcase the latest Multitouch PufferSphere M, where it was a big hit with delegates. The collaboration focused on the 3D multi-user properties of the sphere, which was calibrated to respond to shadow rather than touch, allowing users to interact with the graphics by waving their hands above and around the surface of the sphere. Our thanks to Seeper for putting in the hard yards on the ground and adding their own inimitable touch of magic!

Royal Scottish Geographical Society
