PufferSphere Video Ball

Jewel of the Caribbean

When the Bahamas Tourist Board became a sponsor of London Jewelry Week 2011, they wanted to find a medium through which they could showcase the identity of the Bahamas as the jewels of the Caribbean islands.  Working with Art Director Marko Waschke of SugaVision and Ian Poitier of Fire Brand Films, the Bahamas team used a PufferSphere M to create a stunning Bashian pearl, which morphed from pearl to globe, through video footage of the treasures that make the Bahamas so unique. Premiering at London’s Mayfair Hotel, the display then moved on to occupy pride of place in the “Treasure” installation at Victoria House at Bloomsbury Square.
