Travelling to every corner of the globe, from touring in concerts to dressing TV studios; our PufferSpheres reach many exotic locations and rack up a fair few air miles in the process... But as they say, home is where the heart is; so when we got a call from the Scottish Environmental Technology Network (SETN) asking to use the sphere for their annual conference in Glasgow we put away the Puffer-Passports, jumped in a van and drove through to visit our neighbours in the west.
Used as an eye catching focal point for the conference, the 1.6m PufferSphere XL greeted visitors as they entered the event; displaying a mixture of photos, videos and branding from SETN and their partners, promoting green and clean technology in Scotland.
As the day unfolded, the sphere then doubled as a giant digital scoreboard, highlighting the awards and accolades that visitors to the conference had achieved throughout the previous year and recognising their contribution to clean technologies.
After a busy day of work, the sphere was returned to Puffer HQ where it could feel better about its carbon footprint after spending a day promoting clean technologies!
SETN Communications and Marketing Co-ordinator Janine Capaldi was particularly impressed with the presence of the PufferSphere:
We wanted something which would make a real impact at our annual conference; an eye-catching display to highlight the work of our organisation and our sponsors as well as celebrate the recent achievements of member companies. The PufferSphere is a really creative means of visualising your messages and provided a bold statement as people entered the main event space.
The team at Pufferfish were extremely helpful and adeptly translated our ideas into a visual display which certainly grabbed the attention of our delegates.
Congratulations to SETN for organising a flawless day and thanks for having us along to complete yet another install on home soil.
